Accessibility statement

Find out more about how we are working to make our website as accessible and usable as possible.

This accessibility statement applies to the website www.fosterwithus.org.uk, which is managed by Blackburn with Darwen Council.

This website is run by Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council on behalf of the Foster with us regional partnership. We want as many people as possible to be able to use it. For example, that means you should be able to:

•    change colours, contrast levels and fonts
•    zoom up to 300% without the text spilling off the screen
•    navigate most of the website using just a keyboard
•    navigate most of the website using speech recognition software
•    listen to most of the website using a screen reader (including most recent versions of JAWS, NVDA and VoiceOver)

We have also made the website text as simple as possible to understand.

AbilityNet has advice on making your device easier to use if you have a disability.
